The overall development objective of BPUS
Bangladesh is a strengthened socio-economic position and physical well-being of
the target group of poorest people, belonging to landless and marginal households,
particular women and their children, enabling them to improve their
participation in social and economic development activities.
Thus, the main objective is to improve the
socio-economic condition of poor people, especially women and their children in
the community by undertaking various development programmes in the field of
education, basic health care and Reproductive Health, Safe Drinking Water &
Sanitation, Micro-Enterprise & Entrepreneurship development and other
income generating activities.
